“Find a business partner” is one of the top 3 pieces of advice I offer to any aspiring entrepreneur. It’s probably number one, to be honest.
I always feel a little guilty when I say this, though, because I know I have had the special fortune of meeting a business partner who is unceasingly dedicated, unfailingly honest, and incredibly smart. It’s not realistic that other people will have this, certainly not immediately or easily.
Developing a healthy business partnership requires trust and the willingness to accept risk. I have been glad to put my faith in Emmanuel. He is a testament to our ability to learn, evolve, and to lead. Over the last eight years he has shown that where there is intention to grow–and readiness for discomfort–there will be progress. I really hope that many people, young and old, look to his example and are inspired to live with his same ethics and persistence.
I am immensely grateful to Emmanuel for so diligently working with me to catalyse the potential we see around us in Ghana – and to build robust financial foundations for the people in our communities. A good partner not only makes the business work, not only makes opportunities more possible, but also allows you to have a life. I am very grateful that he allows me to have a personal life!!
To many more years of success. Happy Birthday, Emmanuel !
