The Pure and Just team was delighted to host a visit from the British High Commissioner in Ghana, Harriet Thompson, as well as members of the BHC Diaspora Relations team to our factory in Doboro on Friday 31st January.
Itβs extremely validating for our growing team to receive such high level attentionβparticularly when you consider our humble beginnings processing out of a friendβs dadβs garage.Β
Itβs one thing for us to say (even to ourselves) that weβre an international company operating at world-class standards, itβs quite another thing actually to receive international attention and appreciation.Β
For CEO Yvette Tetteh, a dual Ghanaian-British citizen, itβs particularly good to see further evidence of a positive and productive relationship between Ghana and the UK.Β
For some time nowβand beyond the December festivitiesβGhanaians at home and in diaspora have been working together in rich entrepreneurial and cultural exchange for development at home and abroad. Thereβs so much progress that is possible, and in our hands, when working in partnership. For Pure and Just, the UK is in our sight for export in 2025!
We will be hosting a few open days at our factory in the coming months, please do keep an eye on our social media channels for dates and registration links!Β
