The Pure and Just team was delighted to host a visit from the British High Commissioner in Ghana, Harriet Thompson, as well as members of the BHC Diaspora Relations team to our factory in Doboro on Friday 31st January.
It’s extremely validating for our growing team to receive such high level attention–particularly when you consider our humble beginnings processing out of a friend’s dad’s garage.
It’s one thing for us to say (even to ourselves) that we’re an international company operating at world-class standards, it’s quite another thing actually to receive international attention and appreciation.
For CEO Yvette Tetteh, a dual Ghanaian-British citizen, it’s particularly good to see further evidence of a positive and productive relationship between Ghana and the UK.
For some time now–and beyond the December festivities–Ghanaians at home and in diaspora have been working together in rich entrepreneurial and cultural exchange for development at home and abroad. There’s so much progress that is possible, and in our hands, when working in partnership. For Pure and Just, the UK is in our sight for export in 2025!
We will be hosting a few open days at our factory in the coming months, please do keep an eye on our social media channels for dates and registration links!
