It’s really special to be in attendance at the 2026 Africa Food Systems Forum, at one of the continent’s largest gatherings bringing together leaders and stakeholders from across Africa and globally.
It’s special not only to experience the energy of the multitude of fruitful connections, but also because we’re not just bystanders – we participate as a significant and well-experienced leader in Africa’s 21st century youth-driven Agribusiness renaissance.
Ashesi Alum, Emmanuel, attend’s not only on behalf of Pure and Just, but as a member of the Nkabom Collaborative and a valued mentor and coach within the Ashesi (student) entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The Nkabom [n-KAH-bohm] Collaborative empowers youth to lead the transformation of agri-food and nutrition systems in Ghana. Through experiential learning, community-based research, entrepreneurship and innovation, the collaborative brings together academia and industry to drive meaningful change.
"Nkabom" translates to "togetherness" or "unity" and originates from the Akan language of Ghana. It emphasises the importance of coming together, connecting, and working collectively towards a common goal.
Nkabom’s work aligns with the Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works Strategy, CAADP, and the SDGs, advancing dignified employment and locally driven innovation across Ghana.
